YELLOWSTONE-TETON

The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem is the largest intact ecosystem remaining in the Lower 48 United States defined by the largest active supervolvano and the highest concentration of geothermal features in the world. It is also home to every species of mammal and most native species present at the time of colonial settlement, including the last remaining wild Bison herds amongst tens of millions of acres of rugged, remote, and beautiful lands and waters.
